DTC 1 will be a weekly didactic course during the fall semester of the second year, designed to be a didactic continuation of DDF. During this course, dental students will explore advanced dental therapeutic options to address the unique needs of dental patients. Examples of topics to be addressed include: dental photography, advanced biomaterials, surgical and restorative implantology, digital dentistry, utilization of lasers in periodontics, restorative dentistry and TMD. Successful completion of DTC 1 will be required to progress to the D3 year.
